PressLite VerteX turns external flash into virtual array of lights

If you're an aspiring photographer, once you get a digital SLR (DSLR), you start wanting to fiddle with lighting. You’ll probably end up with an external flash unit that mounts on top of the camera, but it’s not perfect. That light will always come from the same boring direction, but you need to be more creative. That’s where this PressLite VerteX attachment can help.
Its two panels let you reflect just the amount of light you need, bouncing part of it off the ceiling for that soft, indirect look, while aiming the rest of the light at your subject. That’s just one of many possibilities. It's also easy to use, moving it to exactly the right configuration with one hand, keeping the other free to hold the camera, aim and shoot. Considering what it can do, PressLite VerteX is dirt-cheap at $34.95.
