Since this nicely-designed drum only holds 250m of its special Kevlar lanyard, this won’t be much use if you’re living on the 150th-floor penthouse of the Chicago Spire, but it’ll be long enough to save you if you’re on the lower part of a high-rise. We’re thinking you’d better have the attach point of this life-saving device planned out beforehand. Too bad it can’t hoist you up the side of a building like Batman’s paraphernalia.
