| I type really fast, among other things. | Pneumatic Cybertek Wings fly straight out of a cyberpunk wet dream Designer John Paul Rishea has a gallery of wild and outlandish clothing, if you've got the balls to wear them. He's created futuristic-looking collars, sets of wings and robotic gauntlets that would make robo-rockers Daft Punk drool, all sold for several hundred dollars. His latest and most impressive addition to his Cybertek fashion line is pictured above: A pair of pneumatic wings made from carbon fiber and extruded aluminum. At the flick of a switch, the wings will open up to a span of six feet, and can close and open seven times before an included pneumatic pump needs to be used to replenish the air supply. The shining wing tips add a nice ambient glow, and different colors are available (and I'm sure you could figure out how to swap them out).Cyberpunk goodness comes at a steep price, however. Cybertek Wings 2.0 will set you back $1,000. Check out the gallery below for much more of these crazy wings. More... |
