The largest ship of the Soviet fleet, I built this model early in 2005.
Most of the forward sections are devoted to missile storage, the launchers are located under the upper armour shell, you can see the last few banks of launchers near the mid section. The upper and lower sensor booms are retractable, the lower booms are constantly deployed, but the upper booms must be stowed before any serious manuevering can take place. The sensor booms, when deployed, provide extreme range passive targeting, enabling a Krasnoi class to strike targets from the other side of the solar system while remaining completely undetected.

Very nice! the model calls to mind a Kirov class battlecruiser, especially with the missile silo hatches. also, the defensive turrets around the mid section show great attention to detail.
