Very nice. We need more alien related content on here!
On one hand, it's a shame their message didn't get out, it would have saved many lives. On the other, it wouldn't have given us Aliens (The Second Film) and that would have been a bigger crime.

The message did get out, if you recall the first movie Ash knew about the
truth about the message and that is why he tried to kill Ripley and the crew
to take back a Xeno for study, under weapons devision WY.
