This is the standard workbee of the Mission for Galactic Commercialization faction in my Galaxy A-607 universe. It basically functions as a sort of zero-G forklift and can have all manner of attachments applied to the two equipment interface clusters on the front of the ship. This drawing was completed in early Sep, 2006.

Busy sketch. A bit too large for my line of work but diligent. Lotsa nurnies.

I am truly surprised at how many people think the MW-1A is too big (there was a discussion in the forum thread where I posted this originally about the same issue). I realize that most people are familiar with the tiny Star Trek workbee but I decided to go for a larger, more industrial design capable of manipulating larger objects. Are people not capable of thinking outside the confines of the Star Trek canon??

Cheers,

Bah! The worst legacy Star Trek has left is the stigmata it has engraved to the rest of the sci-fi community. Pay no attention to the people who think it is too big, with all due respect to them.

This workbee of yours is at the size that makes sense in your universe, not star treks or star wars. Your design is solid. I like it, it's refreshing and above all: It Makes Sense!

Hell, a Star Destroyer dwarfs a Galaxy Class Starship, so I say again - Bah!
