The Wraith enjoyed popularity among the pilot community even though its active duty lifetime was cut short by the discovery of reliable self-repairing organic sensors just before the first ships launched from the shipyard. The new reliable sensors made the need for a transparent canopy obsolete making the Wraith the last of the "Glass Cockpit" fighter craft. Here is an artist's rendition of a flight of Wraiths on patrol near Bernoulli Five.
