The Imp, a much more interesting name than its official designator of Remote Sensor Satellite, has been a standard with fleet ships since the beginning of humanity's push into interstellar space. Nobody knows who perpetrated the first bit of graphitti on the very first "Imp" but it has since become a tradition that with any new RSS arrival that the rascally visage is stenciled onto the main dish of the satellite.
The Imp is seen here inside the maintenance hangar undergoing a routine inspection.
