Larger fleets mean larger command ships. With the introduction of the 3rd Generation EDF ships, there was a call for a command or flagship for the attack fleets. This is the evolution of that thought. Designed with quick deployment hangers and heavy weaponry, this ship can handle a small skirmish on its own.
