I like that ship! The saucer section gives it a trek-like feel, it's like a marriage between Babylon 5 and Star Trek. The stylized double-planet system in the background also add a lot of appeal. Was this done in Max?

That's an interesting ship design. Kind of Star Trek meets BSG. I like it.

Cool meshes, great lighting, and the background planet looks almost like a photo, but is still good.

the scene was done in max,

the background is a combination of three nasa pics modified in photoshop.

the saucer section is a nod to starfleet ships and is because of links between

E.F. (not B5's Earth Force) and the federation in something i do with some friends which this was created for.

The image is good. But there seems to be a scaling problems with details...if this ship is 7 clicks long, the details gotta be much, much smaller. The way I see it - its around 400-500m long...

thanks for pos feedback,

it was done in max7

the background is a combination of 3 nasa images modified and tinted in photoshop.

the saucer section on the ship is because of the close ties between the federation and E.F. (not B5's Earth Force) in some thing i have going with some friends.

It looks very nice. If I had to say anything it is that there is a lack of external lighting on the ships and station. Its fine how it is right now anyway.
