Thanks TigreStripe! I really appreciate the kind words.

If you use TrueSpace (and I agree about the manual) take a look at my TrueSpace 3.2 tutorial at:

http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/3d-wips/89-doomsday-machine-scifieric-edition.html.

It works for the basics.

Fantastic image! Looks just like the original series.

Sounds like you're putting together an animation. Where can we find this one / other ones that you've done?

Thanks,

Tritzer

Most of what I've done is available in this old thread here:
http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/3...c-edition.html

I'm reworking my flashing lights (never really worked properly) and want to go back and finish the effects for The Savage Curtain as it should only be a few shots.

Thanks for the interest and the rating!

This really is the best and most realistic recreation/enhancement of the look of the original Star Trek series that I've seen, bar none. Congratulations.

This is really good, captures the flavor of TOS. Great color as well.

Thanks Cafe 5! The original planet looked kind of like an orange. I wanted something that would not have looked too out of place keeping the original in mind but would give more of a molten planet feeling.

Thanks for the encouragement!
