This is a broadside view of the USS Savannah as it enters the Jovian system. As you look up near the command /crew quarters you see one of the Lander Bays that houses the 2 Lander that will journey to Europa and Ganymede.

I hope to show the Lander Falcon as it leaves its Lander Bay and prepares to journey all the way down the length of the ship passed the engine section. It will then prepare for its journey down to the surface of Europa.

This model was design and built in Bryce 6.1. The model took a little over 2 months to design and build just using the Booleans object found in Bryce. This model contains over 66,000 parts and is still growing.

Thanks again for taking the time to view and comment about my work. I will always strive to push the envelope to see what Bryce will do.

A lot more is coming from this project so please come back and visit often. Also one other thing, if you would like to see a larger view of this picture you can always visit my website at http://www.bambam131.com and go to the USS Savannah.

Cheers,

David

The image of juipiter should have a credit. While some agencies do not require credits be placed when using their work (see NASA http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/guidelines/index.html) SFM DOES require credit on others' images.

In the future remember to credit ALL work in an image.

This is a great design. Is it your own or a planned NASA undertaking? Also, I wonder, if the front of the ship is a mediorite shield, the why does the communications dish stick up out of its protection? Little risky, no?

USS Savannah follows the 2001 discovery basic design with more detailed structure. Likes the illumination of the scene.
