This is my first scene for my first model in C4D. The ship, the "Silver Sword" is the same mesh as my earlier "Sword of Liberty", put in a stylized scene with a new paint scheme. The ship is mine. The golden Earth is based on an old tutorial online for building an Earth for C4D v8.0, uses a NASA composite photo for the surface of the earth, shifted to yellow, and then messed upon by me. The illustrated sky is a cylinder with an old-tyme diagram of the heavens. As I said, open sources.
I welcome and encourage any constructive criticism you can make on the model, mesh(es), or scene. I look at some of Coolhand's amazing work and I see depth and immensity. I look at this and get a sense of flatness and a lack of realism. Help!
