Three Sword class destroyers from the Earth Defense Fleet move forward to engage the encroaching Deltan invasion. The Sword of Justice, only the second space-going warship built by the nations of Earth, is armed with 96 variable effect fusion missiles, six multi-megawatt laser emplacements, and a centerline rail gun. Her photon reaction drive is powered by a plutonium pebble bed reactor, cooled by radiative emission. Her crew of thirty has their hands full, especially today as they engage the enemy for the first time.

All meshes are by me, done in Cinema 4D, with post work in Photoshop. The scene and description are from my novel, "A Sword Into Darkness", another work-in-progress. This is only my second attempt, so I'd appreciate any comments y'all might have.

Thank you, Kgoku. Can anyone tell me if something doesn't look right? The earth? Lighting? Something about the meshes themselves?

The transition between the Earths' atmosphere and outer space could be softer, the models are simple, but nice (however they could use more greebies to add deffinition). Otherwise it's pretty good stuff.

Thanks, Hundred. I'll work on the Earth model more.

I really like your missiles and energy weapons… the only thing that bothers me is your exploding ship in the background. The explosion/pieces of wreckage, seem to uniform and the lighting needs work.

Nice work though.

Good Art is only eclipsed by the story it belongs to. Nice work.
