I was drawing out concepts for possible modern battlestar designs when I stumbled upon this one and elaborated it into this, a design for one of the original twelve battlestars based on the new BSG series.
At the time, I had called it Columbia, but after talking with a few people we felt 'Pacifica' fits it best, looking rather fish like and all. I also came up with a background story which I jotted down to the bottom left of the page.
I've revised this drawing since I scanned it, instead of looking longer and armed with more batteries than the Galactica, it now has a single 'row' of two groups of 4 batteries.
