This was done as a test for TOS-style planets, and then I added USS Lindbergh to it. I think the planet looks pretty much like the show. The camera angle was done in style of the original series.

What's the deal with the starfield? If you were going for a TOS feel, the starfield would be 100 times less dense with an exagerated number of red giants and yellow dwarfs. Other than that, very reminesant.

The planet and the Lindbergh look nice. I'd say you've captured the TOS-feeling pretty well.
