It really good. The Daedalus could have be place closer to the center, and at a better angle, with some more detail in it, it looks really flat. The hyperspace effect is really good.

I agree with animaniac and andrew - try to play with different camera-angles.
The problem with slipstreamtunnels is to find the right parameters for the lenght. More than one layer ( with different colours ) for it is much important.
Iīve created an orange-red slipstream-tunnel - in lightwave - just two weeks ago ( now I only need the right space-vessel for it - image is coming soon ) and it costs me two long nights before I was satisfied with it.
The camera in the middle of the tunnel is only a good idea if the space-vessel is in the centre too and came directly up to you. If you donīt want this try to move the camera anywhere to the inner border of the tunnel
Hope this little tipps will help you by creating your next slipstream-scene
