I finished my landram model (from the original BSG), so I stuck it in a scene straight away. The idea is they're out on patrol in a dusty desert on some planet, with a storm coming in.

I'm not entirely happy with how the dust turned out and it probably doesn't have quite the feeling of movement that it needs, but I took some artistic license so I could show off the models.

I like it. It looks more like a frozen sub-arctic tundra scene though and not a desert scene.

The blue coloring gives it the Artic feel. Nice image though.

Thanks a lot for the comments. Yeah, I can see what you guys mean about it looking arctic. I think the fact that the dust is light in colour makes it look icey rather than gravelly, but if it's dark it doesn't really show up. I'll just have to live with that. Still, deserts get freezing cold at night, so it almost works.
