Some time after joining the Federation-Klingon alliance, a fleet of Romulan warbirds patrolled a planet within the Star Empire's territory. A fleet of uncloaked warbirds was indeed an uncommon sight. Gone aws the tactical advantage to strike first from cloak. However, just as the sight of one of these massive creatures was a sight to behold, in awe and terror, depending on who the observer happened to be, surely, the enemy would quake at the sight of a number of these gigantic birds. A show of strength, power and might, it was a sign to the Dominion, or whoever that dared come near, that the Romulan Star Empire was not to be meddled with.

Yeah right, or perhaps a fleet of cloaked warbirds would be... boring. =P
