Halo: they're Narn Cruisers from the Babylon 5 universe, G'Quon class - Hot Rods in space if you will.

The composition is nice. However, the key light is waay off. The sun from behind should highlight the edges, but the cruisers are quite overexposed from above. OTOH, the fog shadows of the asteroids are well done.

Hi all

thunderchild: you have announced it well to Halo Buff

I know that the illumination of the cruisers is not correct, because the sun on the background-pic is not the Light-Source.

My intention by creating this bright scene was not to create another dark-blue-illuminated-scene, like hundreds before...

The asteroids are well done by T. Pyle ( see credits )

Nice to see the Narns again, always liked those ships. I hear you about wanting a bright pic but you really need to set up your lighting to match the background. ok you could have another sun which is way up & out of shot, but all the elements in the backdrop show lighting that is consistent with the sun thats visible in the background, and aren't lit in a way to suggest that theres another light source, it would look much better if it matched.

Ok - Now I´m ready with reworking the "Narn-Patrol" Primary I´ve fixed the illumination of the scene. Also I´ve changed the camera-angle a little bit. Hope you like it more than the first try...

@dark-phoenix: What you say?? Lightning... like Thunder and Lightning... WOAHA HA HA HA... Think you mean lighting or illumination...

Did you ever thought about to go to an ophthalmologist???

P.S. This version of the scene HAS the RIGHT lighting ´cause the lightsource at the pic IS NOW the lightsource of the scene - see also the haze-shadows...

P.P.S. The comments above yours means the first version of it, that I´ve canceled...
