overall a good start.
I recommend, making the shadows harder (not as soft) to improve the "large" feeling of the scene
Also work with the water, especialy on the cost line, maybe some displacement, to make the water not look like a 2d plane.

This is a really Cool idea, I like the landscape an imparticular the Giant crystals,
but I think writing Galileo 7 on the Landing Ship was a little bit naughty don't you think?.

i dont think so, it was a tribute to the greatest shuttle name in scifi history.
otherwise i have some other maps for the shuttle with the different names.
you will see in the other images...
