Excellent. I can't see it yet, but I'm betting its excellent. Very cool that someone's doing this ship.

Very nice! I am a fan of the the movie and the ship. Have you ever thought of doing a picture with the engines power up as if it is moving?

Thanks for makeing a great picture!!!

@pwesty Yes, I do - but I want to wait for it, until my wormhole-mesh is ready ( perhaps with some red asteroids for the right action... - don´t know yet )

@dark-phoenix: I know, that you have a personal problem with me ( perhaps with you more than with me... ) - by reason that I´m not rate every picture ( especially yours... ) with 10 ! ! ! but otherwise I´m not worry about that, ´cause I post my Pics not for my personal little ego or for the highest rating. I´ve done and furthermore WILL DO it to give pleasure to other SF- and Renderimage-fans ( Hope you´ve read my reply to you... )

Given the complexity of the original studio model of the Cygnus, I think this a decent piece of work. It does seem a little flat and lifeless, though. Since the ship had so much in the way of transparent surfaces, why not hint at activity within?

@J.Wilde: For my peronal taste John Hoagland has done a very good job by this mesh. But if there is anywhere a better one ( or perhaps if you have uploaded anywhere a better one ) please let me know where I can download it
