ye. so much details should be rendered at high resolution. also if it's 99% geo what's the 1%?

The other 1% is bump mapping. Because this is being used in a commercial film I resisted the temptation to totally bump texture the model,which renders faster and has far less the poly count. As for the higher res image, I have asked the production head and am waiting for a reply
