A friend of mine (Darklandz ingame) managed to extract them from the game. I managed to convert the texture to a usable format. Only had to play with the mapping coords a bit. I'll ask him how he extracted it.

You know, the engine trail is supposed to be blue on the Thorax, it's the Deimos that has a green engine trail.

That looks great! I would sure like to know how to get ahold of those models! I'm trying to (well learning how to) model them from scratch and failing miserably.
