I don't see a star in front of the comet. They get tails when they fly to close to a sun and the tail always points away from the sun. The rest of the time they just look like big rocks. That said I think the quality of work here is fairly high, but there is always room for improvement.

The star is not visible (it is a little to the left) because of the angle that the camera, the tail was put it appears in the sense contradict to the of the star, although it is difíl of noticing in the scene, the comet is a little in the profile
