Planetary Systems, in Bryce

I wasn't sure if I should post this in galleries or here, so I'm putting all the random stuff here. A lot of these textures I got from the Celestia Motherload website, but some I made myself. One of my pride and joy ones is a real sci-fi... terraforming. Let's just throw all physics rules out the window, mass/sunlight, etc... and imagine if you can terraform any rock over 200 miles in diameter. Those textures I did myself. Some of these are old, so one day I may update them.

Luna

Titan, early work and newer version

A friend was making his own planet online, so I offered to preview it in a realistic manner.

If this is the wrong forum, could a moderator just move it?

Still a WIP, mostly because this particular image is old. All the textures are from Celestia Motherload except the smallest 7 bodies, I did those myself. Crude then but I've gotten better.

Photobucket shrinks these but if you are interested in a much bigger picture just tell me. This is an almost complete update of the labeled picture. All the textures are my own except the Earth and Venus ones. The bright white spots are civilization.

I really like these, are you going to do some gas giants and stars in the same scale?

I'm bbzwbbzw, and I approved this message.

I prefer terrestrial worlds. If you don't mind going through 500 megs of textures, you can find plenty of Gas Giant textures @ Celestia Motherload.

BTW, I love your work bbzwbbzw. I first saw it at Wolf's Shipyards.. Unfortunately it won't let me register, never got the confirm email.

That would be a no. I downloaded all the textures Celestia had to offer, and went through all the cloud map PNG's... there's a LOT!

If you'd like to know how I did the vegetation maps, I used this program: ProFantasy Software - Fractal Terrains Pro - map making for game, historical and hobby mappers

From there I took a true color Earth picture and just reasigned the colors and did some photoshop weathering. I have a lot of height maps so it worked out great.
