JAMIE BAMBER

Deep space is a long way from London, England, but classically trained actor Jamie Bamber has proven adept at navigating both territories. Known to millions as Commander Apollo from the cult phenomenon Battlestar Galactica, Bamber calls London home when not in Vancouver filming his role as the peace-keeping fighter pilot.
Born in Hammersmith, his American father and Northern Irish mother relocated the family to Paris until returning home when he was seven-years-old. Though Bamber had been acting since childhood, it was not until his acceptance to the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts that he opted to pursue it as his career. Shortly thereafter, he was cast in his first professional role as Archie Kennedy in the acclaimed British mini-series Horatio Hornblower.
More recent credits include Steven Spielberg and Tom Hank’s award-winning HBO mini-series Band Of Brothers, the BBC telefilm Daniel Deronda, and ITV’s Peak Justice and Ultimate Force. Whether you love to watch TV or prefer going to the movies, chances are you’ve seen Steve Bacic. For fifteen years, this versatile and talented actor has done everything from tickle people’s funny bones to send chills up their spines with his performances on the small and big screens.
From his first TV guest-star role on 21 Jump Street, Bacic landed guest spots on series such as Street Justice, The Commish, Highlander, Call of the Wild, Stargate: SG-1, CSI: Miami and ER as well as several episodes of The X-Files.
In addition to his TV work, Bacic has appeared in such feature films as The 6th Day, X2: X-Men United and Stakeout 2.
